John Padbury
John Padbury is a former operational Special Branch Detective Inspector in the British South Africa Police. He has considerable experience in counter-revolution and mass-mobilisation strategies gained during the Rhodesian Civil War.
Currently based in Devon, he is preparing presentations for military and academic organisations on protracted Irregular Warfare.

Battle For Hurungwe is an historical account of the author's experiences gained during the Rhodesian Civil War 1965-1979.
It is about the strategies, tactics and intelligence operations involved in revolution, counter-revolution and mass-mobilisation, and is a case study for modern protracted Irregular Warfare campaigns.
