David (‘D.B. Lewis’) is a non-fiction author, editor, and publisher, specialising in all forms of biography (memoir, diary, essay, literary journalism). Also historical, cultural and travel works as well as poetry and anthologies and a series of young people’s stories.

Fizz is a nomadic biographer, blogger and traveller who writes while on the move. Using a smart ‘phone and a Bluetooth keyboard, Fizz creates web content and magazine articles.

D. Osborne Hughes, or Doz, as most people know him, is creative, a full-time artist, photographer and published author, and a retired Police Officer, who now devotes his time to following his artistic passions.

Eleni was born and raised in Malawi, but now based in the UK.
Much of her writing takes the reader back to her days in Africa, and the stories told by her mother when she was a young girl.

Mark spent many years living in London before moving to Andalucia in southern Spain. He has travelled extensively throughout the United States, Europe and far afield over many years, harvesting material for writing both literature and songs.

Peter was born in Kundu Bay, on the side of Lake Victoria, Kenya. He moved to Southern Rhodesia in 1958, and in 1959 joined the British South African Police (posted to the Matabeleland District). In 1977 Peter moved to the UK, but still sees Africa as his home.

John Padbury is a former operational Special Branch Detective Inspector in the British South Africa Police.
He has considerable experience in counter-revolution and mass-mobilisation strategies gained during the Rhodesian Civil War.

Steve worked for Derbyshire Constabulary for 32 years, 26 of those as a Detective firstly based in the Derbyshire Dales and then for the last fifteen as a specialist in Fraud and Money Laundering. Once retired, Steve has taken up writing and self-publishing novels.

Udo is a new writer and enjoying being part of TGWF. Udo splits hit time between his homes in both Galway, Ireland and Münster in Germany. He is married to a Galway Girl and writes mostly in English.

Ann Cumberland is a writer, adventurer, and traveller. She has raised funds for Ethiopia’s ‘Live Aid” parachuting from a small aircraft and has travelled all over Europe and to New Zealand experiencing life at an exciting pace.

Neil Hallam is a freelance photojournalist based in Nottingham, England. He contributes to magazines in: Australia, USA and Great Britain. He is also Editor of the International Police Association’s (IPA) Police World magazine.

Helena lives in Devon and is at her happiest walking on Dartmoor or the Southwest Coast Path. A keen writer and poet with a passion for travel and history, she tries to write a few lines every day.
Currently Helena is working on a trilogy of children’s short stories in poetic form.

Martin Bone

Mike Masson is a retired Scotland Yard Detective Inspector with over 30 years’ experience in the Metropolitan Police. He was involved in numerous murder enquiries and has also undertaken criminal enquiries overseas in Cyprus, Ethiopia, South Africa, South Korea, United States and Ireland.

Matt Johnson served as a soldier and Metropolitan Police officer. His debut spy/crime thrillers Wicked Game, Deadly Game and End Game were published by Orenda Books. Crow 27 was published in November 2022 and Matt’s first non-fiction No Ordinary Day, the story of the murder of WPC Yvonne Fletcher, in June 2023.

Jared is a successful novelist from Nairobi, Kenya and an officer within the Kenyan Police. Service. We are delighted that Jared has joined our Global Writers Forum.
