Peter Good
I was born in Kenya. My childhood years were spent with my parents, brothers and sister in the isolated mining and farming areas of Kenya, and it was here that my fondness for the ' bush life' and wild animals grew.
In 1959, I moved to Southern Rhodesia (now known as Zimbabwe) where I joined the British South Africa Police Force, spending my entire service in the Matabeleland Province, at various District Stations. I also served as Public Prosecutor in the Local Magistrate Courts for 5 years.
It was whilst at these District Stations that I learnt the customs and language of the local populace, even joining them in their 'beer drinks', and in doing so I won their respect, which paid off during the troubled times of ' terrorist' activity.
My Writing
I relocated to England in 1977, where I have remained since, but still regard Africa as my 'home' and miss the African 'night noises'.
I have been writing for many years and I do hope you enjoy my books and experience the flavour of Africa. There is far more information on my website, please see the links below.
My books are £7.99 each, but IPA Members can buy them directly from me at £5.00 each.

Ndlovu - The White Elephant
A pacy story set in Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) during the turbulent years that followed Rhodesia's Unilateral Declaration of Independence. The story highlights the dangers of police work in the explosive climate of a troubled country in the years of the terror war. It is woven around human suffering, painful endurance, and horrors that confronted the peoples both black and white. The narrative is loosely based upon the author's experiences in the police force of what was then Rhodesia. Thus the action of this story is set against an authentic background which the author experienced and the impeccable writing style gives a palpable vividness to the events.......
A retired ex-Police Constable, commits murder, he flees the country but has now returned as a leader of a 'terrorist gang', he is on a diabolical mission, he is wily and ruthless, but he has one fear.... a reoccurring dream in which he is crushed and gored by an elephant, that appears white in colour.....
Tony is a police officer determined to track down this cunning and callous murderer....... Will he succeed and live up to his given name-NDLOVU-The White Elephant?
The author has succeeded in producing a narrative with great feeling, what sets this work apart from other similar books is the remarkable attention to detail.

Be TREY al

ANTHOLOGY OF CHRISTMAS MURDERS - Terror Tinsel and Turkey
Murder, as you know comes in all shapes and sizes. It also comes at inconvenient times. Christmas, for example. Season of goodwill. peace to all men (and women too of course), homely jollity round the turkey and mince-pies. A time of family reunion and of good cheer, and of unexpected death.
Lock the doors. Draw the curtains. Settle down in your armchair. Pour yourself a drink and enjoy ten stories by the masters of the genre. Murder by meat-hook, piano-wire, scarf, knife, hammer, golf club, bullet, syringe.... Dear, oh, dear!
And naturally all the classic motives: blackmail, revenge, disappointment in love, greed, anger, a perverted sense of duty....Murder of men by women, and of women by men. Murders committed on impulse and murders carefully planned. A catalogue of weakness, hatred and villainy. It's all here at your elbow.
